The Master of Research (MRes) in Medical technology is a new one
year Full-time or two years part-time degree for those involved in the
medical and medical technology sectors. The degree is undertaken on-line and will offer training in research in this increasingly important
area.
The degree will equip students with the basic knowledge and training
in medical technology research, and will enable them to apply this
knowledge in their own research project. The research is undertaken in
the workplace with full supervision from Strathclyde University staff,
supported by local supervisors.
This course is targeted at doctors, scientists and engineers engaged in
the delivery, design and manufacture of medical technologies. This
course will appeal directly to medical doctors, surgeons, nurses, other
allied healthcare professionals, those involved in the life sciences,
design engineers and product engineers.
For further detailed information, please contact the course director,
Professor Terry Gourlay either by email Terence.gourlay@strath.ac.uk
